Obviously, this poor blog has been severely neglected. So this post is chock-full of pictures from this year so far, and brief explanations. Enjoy!
| Gracie and her Aunt Kristine did Minnie/Mickey tattoos to ring in the new year--what rebels! :) |
| Apparently a nuclear bomb of some sort exploded right in the middle of our three heroes. May they rest in peace. |
| Gracie's getting ready for Kindergarten! |
| She's a girl, through and through. She can make anything into a purse... |
| ...or phone. |
| And she steals shoes whenever she gets a chance. Even if they're daddy's, and they're on backwards. :) |
| Katie has started doing all sorts of fancy things with her fingers--she's got a lot of dexterity. This is the baby sign she made up for "Cheerios." |
| This just made me laugh. Especially the expression on her face. |
| Gracie has been obsessed with creating and acting out Nativity scenes all the time. (She only stopped a couple weeks ago.) It was very cute to come in our room and discover this elaborate one set up there. Pig=Baby Jesus; Minnie=angel; white teddy bear=Mary; puppy=Joseph |
| Sorry this one's sideways. Cast: snowman bucket=the angel; dragon=Mary; puppy=Joseph; snowman=Baby Jesus. I asked her who the ladybug (slipper) was, and she said, "It's just your slipper, Mom." Oh. Okay. |
| I just loved that she held onto her flower, even in a very deep sleep. |
| We've had many, many Disney Princess sightings around our house lately. Perhaps you recognize a few of them? |
| Gracie loves this playmat that Daddy bought her, which came with a book and small princess figurines. We save it for Katie's naptime because, well, Katie's not quite so "gentle." |
| Please, if you can enlarge this picture, do it! Check out the face she's making in the mirror. Very lady-like. |
| Haven't you heard? Monochromatic ensembles are the latest fashion craze! (even her headband and ponytail were yellow) |
| Katie's first ponytails. Aren't they cute?! |
| This kid needs to learn to relax. Eating yogurt shouldn't be this stressful! |
| Katie is obsessed with Minnie, and we LOVE it! |
| Like father, like daughter. (That's a baby laptop.) |
| Learning to color (and loving it!) |
| Enjoying some bread together. I especially like the portion sizes. |
| I was confused when Dave cracked up as he entered the bathroom. I soon figured out why. Gracie is SOOO funny! What's even funnier is that she doesn't do this for the reaction--she just did this because, hey, she had some wadded up toilet paper, and what better to do with it than make a happy face on the toilet lid? |
| Katie continues to enjoy spaghetti. Just FYI. |
| On this day, Gracie got all dressed up and said she was being a "pretty momma." So cute! |
| Mmmmm...cupcakes! |
| Awesome outfit, put together by Gracie herself! |
| Girls in hats! |
| Daddy gets to come home for lunch most days, and we love it! This day, Gracie and Daddy had a picnic on the bed! |
| So, now you're all caught up, picture wise! Maybe one of these days I'll tell you what we've been up to. Or maybe not. I'm hoping to post more on here, so check back soon-ish. :) |

Way too cute. My only complaint, there are no pictures of you. Lovin' the pony tails.
Wow! Those are great pictures. There were so many that were my favorite then i would scroll down and I'd find another favorite. LOVE the one of Gracie looking in the mirror! Katie eating spaghetti is adorable, and the shirt stuck on her head. You know what, they're all cute, cause your children are so adorable. Good job on having good genetics!
those pictures are so fun. your girls are growing up! i can't believe grace is going to kindergarten!
I've gotta say, my favorite pics are of Katie with the shirt pulled up on her head. Why do kids do stuff like that??? It's so funny! It must be for our entertainment!
