They also had lots of little booths set up with games for kids to play, and you could win tickets to use at the prize table. One of the booths had a bucket of ducks, and if you could find ducks with "1", "2", and "3" on the bottoms, you got a ticket (or something like that). Well, Gracie was fascinated with that booth and kept going back to "count" the ducks. She would poke their heads and say, "Two, free [3], wive [5], eight!" and then clap for herself, and of course she got a ticket! She went back and did that at least five times!
Then there was a booth where she had to throw a ball through different hoops to score different amounts of tickets. [Note: Really, none of the booths were very strict about tickets; if you stopped by, you automatically got tickets.] Here is Gracie showin' off her mad ball-throwing skills.
They had tons of pumpkins around the field for decoration, and Gracie really wanted to hold them. She tried over and over again to pick them up, but had to settle for just hugging them:

By the end of all the booths, she had accumulated 24 tickets, so we headed over to the prize table and got even more stuff! She got a couple of pencils, some finger puppets, stickers, and candy. (She would've been fine with just the candy, though!) Then, as we were leaving they said, "Please take some pumpkins!" So we said, "Okay!" and took 2 with us. Awesome, huh? (Those are the ones that were so skillfully carved in an earlier post, you may recall.) ;) Anyway, a great time was had by all, and I hope they do it again next year!

How fun, I wish I could have gone! Free stuff is the best I know being a poor college student and all. By the way I love Gracie's hair in these pictures, it's adorable!
